Jamie Buchanan-Dunlop
Jamie is the founder of the Digital Explorer and is an expeditioner and educator. He has worked on Education and Community Development projects in the Himalaya and currently teaches Citizenship and Geography at a secondary school in Eltham. He has led expeditions to the Himalayan regions of India, Pakistan and Tibet as well as the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. He is director of iNOMAD and the Offscreen Education Programme as well as a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.

Marjan Shirzad
Marjan was the filmmaker on the Digital Explorer Eastbury Comprehensive Expedition to Morocco in 2006. Since then she has been key to the Digital Explorer’s development. Marjan has a background in web development and is also an experienced expedition filmmaker. Raised in Tehran, Paris and New York, Marjan has a degree in Asian Studies-Middle East Concentration from the University of Virginia and an MA in Visual Anthropology from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
